Okay so it’s a new year which means times must change and new things must come, yes? This means out with the old and in with the new.

In my case, the old that’s out is a few of my hostees that never updated, which means there’s even more room than ever for new wanna-be-hostees to apply. Please use my new contact form to do so.

I’ve also decided it was time to let go of my TagBox, so all comments must now be done on my WordPress posts–if you do, you’re link will be plugged into the bottom of the post, so hopefully that’s good incentive. Caring is hard to give with nothing in return, I know ;)

The not-so-old old I tossed in the rubbish bin was my Custom Design Packages. Only one person ordered anything in the months I had them up, I guess my prices were too high or whatever, but I really don’t feel like serving others with my mad graphic skills right now anyway ;) I am however considering offering stand-along coding services, so if you have a graphic layout but need the structure coded, I’ll be able to do that. I’m never not in the mood to code. Nerdy, I know.

I also have a new system for my top affiliates–it will no longer be up to me but by how much traffic you send my way. Thanks to toxicgoblin.com I’ve added a script that tracks this, so the top 8 referrers will be listed in my sidebar, and the top 20 are also going to be listed on the homepage. The site also had a script for tracking how many people are viewing your site, so I’m using that as well (rather than the annoying one that came with my old TagBox).

Many would hang their heads in shame at the amount of time and effort I spent converting all my old log files and tinkering with newer ones to get them all batched and ready for viewing with Awstats, but being the site statistic obsessor I am, I would have hung my own head in shame if I hadn’t. You may now view these by clicking the Statistics link in my sidebar, enjoy! Note that some information is missing between April and November (filesizes). Also note that I have to update new stats manually, which I will try to do at least once a day.

I’m starting to enter challenges at blend sites again, colorizations only because they’re funnest, and below are my first 4 entries. Awards and honors for all my entries are going to be kept on my new awards page (clever title eh?)

Also, thanks to my new tidy installation of coppermine I did recently, I now have a page for the Graphics category on my main site. It works the same way as my Photography page, visit it and you’ll know what I mean. [EDIT] Just made the first wallpaper in longer than I want to figure out, featuring Hannah Montana (because she is way cool and if you disagree, you better keep it to yourself o.O) and I hope you like it!

As for blogging, I finally got through all episodes of the first 3 seasons of House (took me 3 months!) and I can’t wait to get caught up with the 4th ^_^ Didn’t do anything exciting for new years, except my nerdy computer stuff up into the last couple minutes when I watched the re-run of the Times Square, New York ball drop, and sipping some Coca-Cola (what else???) Hope you all had/have a good time/year!
