My deepest apologies for the 12-or-so hour site downtime today. After my last update last night, Dreamweaver decided during its upload process that it would delete the existing homepage but not replace it, so visitors were treated with a lovely blank white page.
On a happy note, I’ve got 3 new colorizations I’ve submitted for challenges, wish me luck! 3 other challenges are still in progress, so I’m crossing my fingers on them too. I’m also re-doing some of my old colorizations because I know I can do way better, so yey for me :)
I read somewhere that graphic designers are starting to get in trouble for using pictures without putting credits, apparently putting “These images are copyright to their respective owners” is no longer sufficient, so I’ve added what view sources I can remember for picture hunting onto my Resources page. However, many of them I found so long ago I can’t remember, and other’s were provided at challenge sites from which I didn’t think to jot down where they got them from. From now on I’ll try to be better about that though :o

I’ve been battling a cold for almost a week now, it had actually started to go away 3 days ago but either it regressed after going outside in drizzly cold weather (nah) or by coincidence I got a sinus infection right after. And who knew that sinuses could make your gums hurt? I had just thought that my teeth were shifting from never wearing my retainer haha. At least now I have an excuse not to wear it at night, because I tried it the last two nights and each morning I woke up to find that it had somehow come out. It fits too snug just to fall out, which means it must be my subconscious taking action. Can’t blame me for that eh? ;)
This year I’m going to start selecting Site of the Month, and the first one I chose was Taylor’s Beautiful-Love.org. I knew this girl way back when she first started experimenting with graphic design, and it has been amazing to watch her continually grow. After a span of time when we were out of touch, I came back to find that she had created her own website, and I was blown away by the progress she had made so quickly. She has an extraordinary amount of visitor content, including fonts, brushes, patterns, textures, and a heaping helping of tutorials, and her collection of graphics make it hard for me to believe this is the same girl I was trying to help out a couple years ago. Check it out, you’ll be glad you did :)
Some new affiliates to visit as well:

As for me and this site, I’m going to do all I can to keep my portfolio growing and hopefully keep you all coming back for more. As long as Dreamweaver doesn’t conspire against me again that is…
