I sure do like to use one word blog titles that end with “-ed” don’t I?

Well I’d like to apologize for not having any new content in…forever…and though as always I hope to correct this problem soon, I don’t know in fact how soon that soon will be. A friend of a friend is having me help tutor her with Dreamweaver and Photoshop, help her build a few websites, and tackle a few other miscellaneous projects of similar nature, so perhaps I’ll having something to show for myself upon completion of these tasks.

I’m still long overdue on a wedding portrait, but I can honestly say it’s almost done–the tediousness of tree bark is the cause of my current procrastination–but since I am so close to finalizing it that it’s reached the point of torment, I’d really like to get it done in the nearest future possible.

And at the bottom of my priority totempole is a pair of jeans on which I had painted a couple of Jasmine Beckett-Griffith’s “strangeling” fairies at least a few years ago which have faded greatly in that time which I would much like to touch up. I almost finished with one and I swear it’s more spectacular than my first attempt (although I would certainly expect as much given the improvement I ought to have gained in my skills by now) and though I started work on the second, I’m considering choosing a different subject that better compliments the first. Then if I ever find any extra time I’d love to add more as well, and maybe patch up the holes in the back that currently prevent me from displaying them in public without a shirt wrapped around my waist.

I’ll be honest and admit that I’ve had no inspiration whatsoever to make a dent in enhancing and re-enhancing my photography to post in my gallery, but by golly one day it will be done. The prospect of having several hundred to process is probably what frightens me away at the mere thought of it, so I may just need to break it down into small groups that I’m more likely to approach from time to time.

I’ll also be honest and admit that I have absolutely no idea why I’m using such elegant grammar throughout this blog–I know I have a tendency to throw pleasant-sounding sentences in here and there but lately the style of writing seems to dominate me. And by lately, I mean the past few days. Speaking of the past few days, I became very ill over the weekend and it was absolutely dreadful. Sadly, none of my 100+ friends on facebook seemed concerned, for not one responded to the status I set, nor to the note describing the absurd events that occurred at the onset of what ailed me. I believe I’m fully recovered now, however, so worry not!

Now I must feast on Au Gratin potatoes so I must bid you all adieu, but do not fear for I shall return hence!
