Late on June 18, 2025, a woman entered a gas station in the 100 block of Salter Street and used bear spray on an employee while trying to rob the store.

The suspect fled before police arrived, but the victim — despite being affected by the spray — was able to give officers a good description.

Around 2:20 a.m., officers found the suspect in the 600 block of Selkirk Avenue and arrested her. The 27-year-old woman faces robbery charges and remains in custody.
